product looks good, uses a set screw to attach to shaft. Time will tell if it will say secured. But it looks a feel good.

I have been annoyed by broken Mustang parking brake handles since the 90's. This seems like such an obvious fix for that dumb old OEM design. It's a beautiful part and from 18" away you'd never guess it wasn't original. It does use a setscrew instead of the factory pin for mounting. I opted to match-locate and drill a dimple on the parking brake shaft to make sure the setscrew gets a good bite. This procedure might be difficult if you don't remove the shaft assembly from the car.

This handle fit on my 1965 Ford F100 2WD parking brake lever. Note that this handle matches the style of the original handle, but the design is a little bit different. The original was plastic while this is metal. The original handle was also centered on the parking brake lever shaft while this is off-centered to the right. The off-centered design allows a much better grip than the stock handle. The metal construction gives me confidence it will not break like the original did. It does not feel cheap. I do think the price ($48.51 at the time of this writing) is a little steep for the handle, given I have purchased much larger or more complicated parts for cheaper (e.g. a replacement windshield wiper fluid pump for my truck was slightly cheaper) but it is solidly built at least and there are few good replacements available.
