The cable housing is an inch and a half longer than the OEM cable that was on my 69 Mustang. The cable itself is 2 inches longer than the original and the ball at the end of the cables is to large to fit into the bracket that links them together. I needed to file the ball down to get it to fit. All these things made it difficult to install.
