These gaskets for the back up lights are lousy. I spent more time than I should have trying to get these to fit on the new back up light housings. The channel that the edge/rim of the housing is supposed to slip into doesn't appear to be deep enough. The gasket keeps popping off. I ended up using my existing gaskets. In addition to the channels of the gaskets being too shallow, the Daniel Carpenter brand gaskets appear to be more round than oval shape and that may be contributing to such a bad fit. My older gaskets went on just fine on the first attempt. Do yourself a favor and buy something other than the Danial Carpenter gasket.

These have always been frustrating to install.  You get one side in and the other pops out.  The area that fits around the studs doesn’t seem to fit correctly.  The channel the housing the fits into seems too shallow for easy installation but they can be done.  It does suck though and tests your patience and problem solving ability.

Look like originals, I used a bit of contact cement too hold them in place for ease of installation..
