Mirror will not fit 1970 Cougar Drivers side. The mirror hits the drivers door window if you try to mount in the factory mounting location.

The mirror is an excellent copy of my OEM unit. The mounting base gasket is contoured to the correct shape like the original one. The mirror came with two sets of mounting screws - one set with a machine screw thread and a second set with sheet metal pitch thread.
