PLATE, CAMSHAFT THRUST, ORIGINAL EOAZ-6269-A
These are some of the last reaming original Camshaft Thrust plates for your 1982 thru 1982 5.0L HO engines. These original units feature the Ford part number EOAZ-6269-A and were specifically designed for the 5.0L HO motor. So, if you are looking to rebuild your original motor and want to use original Ford parts look at picking up one of these units from NPD today!
Restoration Note:
Fords original parts book listing show that the 1982 thru 1984 5.0L HO engines (before 3/21/84) used a different camshaft thrust plate then every other 4.2L or 5.0L engine in the Foxbody line. The original Ford part numbers listed in the parts book are 80/84 before 3/21/84 excl 5.0L HO motor (C9OZ-6269-A) & 82/84 before 3/21/84 5.0L HO motor (EOAZ-6269-A) and then 84/93 from 3/21/84 5.0L motor (C5OZ-6269-D). The C9OZ-6269-A was replaced by the C5OZ-6269-D part number. This information is to show the exact engine listings.
Note that Ford Performance does not list any changes for this part. Their part number M-6269-A302 or NPD part number 6269-1A show fitting all 79-93 4.2L and 5.0L engines.
