Mine did not come with a vent hole - which I didn't realize until it was installed and I couldn't remove the drive shaft due to the seal and suction it created. Now either have to drill a hole in the bottom of the boot and risk damaging the output shaft or remove and reinstall the seal. The problem is that the transmission is now back in the car rather than on a work bench where I installed the seal with no vent in the boot. If you buy this make sure it has a vent hole!
