This running horse ornament is an exact reproduction of the original Ford part featuring the F4ZZ-8A224-A & F6ZZ-8A224-AA part numbers but is finished in a super gloss black finish. This exact reproduction unit includes the mounting bracket and plastic style gloss black running horse just like the factory emblem but with a custom touch. This unit can be used on all 1994-1998 Mustangs as well as 2003-2004 Mach 1 and Cobra models. This emblem can be used on all 1999-2004 models when using the Mach 1 delete panel. So, if you are looking to keep your SN95 Mustang as close to original style but also give it that custom touch, look at picking up one of these units from NPD today!

Restoration Note:

The original 1994-98 Mustang running horse grille ornament ( F4ZZ-8A224-A & F6ZZ-8A224-AA ) did not show the factory bracket located behind the running horse feet. This reproduction unit is that earlier style used on the 1994-1998 model years and features no bracket behind the running horse feet. If you are looking for a more correct 1999-2004 version showing the bracket behind the running horse feet (XR3Z-8A224-AA) see M-8A224-100 original Ford part. This emblem is as close as you can get for a reproduction unit for your 1999-2004 Mustang models.

Installation Note:

If you are looking to install this exact reproduction style running horse emblem on your 1999-2004 Mustang V6 or GT you will need to purchase both the Mach 1 delete panel as well as the correct radiator opening trim panel. NPD offers both of these part number M-17B814-145A (delete panel) & M-8C299-128B (radiator trim panel)

This reproduction part does not included the factory mounting hardware and will require you to reuse your original hardware. If you need proper mounting hardware see M-8A224-100K for correct torx bit style screws. Please note that these reproduction torx screws are not the safety style with the stud located in the middle.

Note:

If you are looking for a more basic style swap for your 99-04 Mustang V6 or GT you can use part number M-8A224-100BB replacement style emblem with part number M-17B814-145A that does not require the radiator trim panel.
