Restoration Note:
Original Ford listings only ever show one part number for the front mounting rivets. This number was a 388664-S part number. Ford changed rivet styles many times over the years of building Foxbody Mustangs. Early year 1979 thru 1981 used a Dome style rivet for OE applications. 1982 thru 1989 also maybe some early 1990 featured this Spiral Wound style rivet. Then sometime in the early 90s Ford went to the standard Flange Style flat black rivet that was used from that point forward. All this research and timeline is based off cars in the NPD collection as well as working with top Foxbody restorers. Please check your original application before ordering.
Note:
If you are looking for one of the other two styles of correct rivets then NPD has you covered. See part number M-8190-1AK for Dome Style rivets or part number M-8190-3AK for Flnage Style.
