This unit is designed after the original E4DZ-8B455-A Ford part number and is listed by Ford as fitting 1984 thru 1993 on both Mustang and Capri models. Ford listing does show a (before 3/86) and a (from 3/86) listing but the original E4DZ-8B455-A part number was replaced by E4DZ-8B455-B and ran all the way until 1993. NPD research cannot show why Ford has this type of listing.
