These units were designed and based of the original F0ZB-6104459 Ford part number and feature an OE style texture as well as the correct mounting studs. Each unit also feature all the correct mounting tabs to properly install you steering column to dash seal. NPD includes not only this correct seal but also (7) OE correct style push on starlock washers (W623450-S) that are needed to mount the seal to this unit. Speaking of hardware, each panel includes (3) OE style screw on spring retainers (Ford part number E1FZ-61046A46-A) as well as (3) OE style push on rubber bumpers (Ford part number N802600-S) that would have been include when you purchased this unit originally from Ford. Restoration Note:

This unit is molded in a black interior color and is designed to be a direct replacement for the 1990-1993 model years that featured the correct black interior. This unit can also be used as an upgrade on all 1990-1993 Foxbody Mustangs that are looking to do a black interior color change. We at NPD decided to offer these parts in two color option. Installation Note:

These panels will require you to install the seal, mounting hardware and bumpers prior to installation. NPD has done this for two reasons. First, this is how the service part came from Ford and second if you need to paint the panel prior to installing it your do not need to remove the mounting hardware and seal. The starlock washers that come with this panel to mount the seal are designed to be a one time use.

These unit are designed to mount directly to your steel under dash panel. The only hardware not includes with this panel is the three under dash mounting bolts. NPD also offers the correct mounting bolts to mount this panel to the underside of the dash. See NPD part number M-04459-4K
