Installation Note:
Please check your original ID code to ensure proper replacement. This unit is not designed to fit SVO models. SVO models used a different circuit board then other models.
Restoration Note:
Ford listing show two Ford part numbers E1ZZ-10K843-A & E4ZZ-10K843-B. The E1ZZ was replaced by the E4ZZ unit. They both featured different ID codes located on the part. Please note that the part number and the ID code are different. The ID code will be the number listed on the part itself. The part number was Fords internal sales number.

I purchased the printed ribbon circuit for my 1985 Mustang GT. The fit was perfect and everything works now as it should. I am certainly happy that NPD carries this, even though it is pricey, it is worth the money to be able to replace the non functioning original ribbon.

The circuit board did not fit exactly, it needed to be a 1/4 inch longer to reach the right side lights without putting pressure on the flexible board. Installed, and since there is tension on the board, a couple of dash lights are not aligned perfectly, are not making perfect connections and are not working. Now must disassemble, trouble-shoot and reinstall.

Ribbon is not the correct length, it’s too short. It did not fit my 1982 GT. You May damage it by stretching to make it fit. 2 gauges would not work where the ribbon is not long enough! They denied me a refund because I had installed a electrical component. How how you know if it works if you don’t install it???? Thumbs down on this product for fit and function

Perfect fit on my 85 Mustang GT. Easy to install. Works perfectly. Good idea to change the instrument cluster voltage regulator when you change out the circuit board. The speedometer cable is tricky to detach from the cluster.

Nice part, Got all the gauges on my 85 GT convertible working again and turned off the light for the low fuel light in the console. This was perfect replacement for the E4ZF-10C956-AA. Little on the pricey side but everything is post covid and NPD is the only game in town for this part. You will have to cut the plastic between the tach and the temp gauge but its the same with the factory unit. Just don't cut the copper.
