This mounting kit is designed to give you the proper hardware needed to mount your factory front seat tracks to your original floor pan. This kit includes (2) OE style M10 Hex head free spinning washer nuts and (2) OE Style M10 hex head flange bolts. This kit will allow you to mount one seat track to your floor pan. So if you are looking to replace your worn out, rusted or cross threaded original hardware, look at picking up one of these kits from NPD today!
Installation Note:
This kit is designed to work with original floor pans and original front mounting studs from 1986 thru 1993 Foxbody Mustangs. This kit will also work with NPDs replacement floor pans or Stud kit (M-010692-1BK). This kit will not work with factory floor pans or studs from 1979 thru 1985 due to Ford using standard hardware and studs. This kit will work for 1979 thru 1985 if using NPDs replacement floor pans and stud kit.
Restoration Note:
The nuts and bolts included in this kit are designed to be as close to original hardware for your 1986 thru 1993 Mustang. The nuts in this kit feature the same original style free spinning washer and finish that the original hardware used. The bolts in the kit also feature the same hex head flange as original. Both the nuts and the bolts in this kit feature the same 15mm head that was used on the original applications.
This kit is designed to work with 1986 thru 1993 Mustangs due to Ford originally using standard hardware for 1979 thru 1985 models years. Also 1979 thru 1985 model years featured different bolt, stud and nut combinations and was not standardized until 1986 model years.
Even thought this kit features the same size nuts and bolts as the 1994 thru 2004 model year Mustang, Ford changed the rear bolt size and washer size to ensure a better fitment on the new front seat tracks.
