If you are looking to replace your broken, missing or damaged original front fender rear mounting brackets then NPD has you covered with this complete kit. This exclusive kit from NPD is designed to not only give you the correct brackets but all the necessary hardware need to ensure a proper installation. This kit start off with the correct front fender rear mounting bracket. It is based of the original Ford part number D8BZ-16C078-A and was tooled off original NOS samples to ensure that they fit just like original. Each bracket is designed to work on either the RH or LH side and feature the correct hole locations and correct locating tab as well as being EDP coated.

Next is the OE style mounting hardware need to ensure a proper installation of not only the bracket to the front fender but also the bracket to the side cowl panel tab. The hardware includes (4) OE style hex head mounting bolts for bracket to fender mounting as well as bracket to side cowl panel. It also includes (2) OE style mounting clips that are designed to attach to the mounting brackets to help with proper side cowl panel installation. This hardware is designed to mount both RH and LH side brackets.

Restoration Note:

These brackets are based of the original D8BZ-A Ford part number and were designed by FORD to fit either the RH or LH side. Ford only ever showed one part number for this bracket. They were designed by FORD to fit 1979 thru 1993 Foxbody Mustangs. All these brackets were painted body color prior to installation.

Standard hardware was originally used on all 1979 thru 1985 Foxbody Mustangs. This kit includes the correct standard hardware to match original Ford front fenders The hardware in this kit is as close to original as NPD could source.

Installation Note:

These brackets are located on the rear part of the front fenders and attach to the side cowl panel. They are not included with new reproduction front fenders and are typically bent or damaged during front or side impacts.

BRACKET INFORMATION: *** PLEASE READ *** These brackets are designed exactly like the original D8BZ-A FORD part number and have the correct locating tab on the one side. This tab is designed to locate the bracket in the proper location on the front fenders. Original FORD front fenders have a locating hole on each side to ensure that the bracket is in the correct position. This makes installation just like factory. If you are using aftermarket front fenders either from NPD or any other manufactures you might need to cut or grind the locating tab off these brackets. The aftermarket front fenders (NPD VERSION) only have the correct locating hole on the driver side fender. The passenger side fender dose not have the correct mounting hole and will require you to cut the mounting tab off for installation. HARDWARE INFORMATION: *** PLEASE READ *** The hardware is designed to be used with original FORD front fenders that featured the correct standard threads drilled in the backside. If you are restoring your 1979-1985 Foxbody Mustang and using reproduction front fenders you will need NPD part number M-16C078-3AK kit for correct metric hardware. Most aftermarket front fenders are drilled for metric threads and not the correct standard hardware. Check your application before ordering.

This NPD part number is designed to be a complete kit. If you do not need a complete kit NPD offers both the hardware or the brackets in this kit separately. This kit is designed to do both the driver and passenger side front fenders.
