If your are looking to take you engine compartment detail to the next level, then picking up this Alternator Fan Shield Kit from NPD is a start in the right direction. These alternator shields are commonly missing from original or replacement alternators due to rebuilds or replacement. Over time more and more engine compartments look incomplete due this key piece missing from the alternator. This OE style unit is based off the original E8SZ-10C348-A & F1TZ-10C348-A units. NPD has compared these units to each other and we have come up with this OE correct part. It features a black plastic finish like the original as well as the correct contours for proper installation.
Speaking of installation, one of the key parts needed to install the alternator shield is the hard to find mounting clip that is used to hold the shield in its proper location. This unique long style clip attaches to the two thru bolts that hold the alternator housing together. The OE style clip that is included in this kit is based off the original Ford E5TZ-10C349-A part number. This clip also features all the correct bends as well as the correct tension needed to hold the shield against the alternator properly.

Installation Note:
NPD has tested the long style spring clip include in this kit with both original Ford and NPDs replacement style alternators to ensure that it will fit properly thru the gap on the mounting standoff. If using a different style alternator check fitment before installing.

did not like the wiring . why not a plug? my plug was in good shape. the problem of finding tool ect to adapt.
