These units were designed and based off the original E7ZZ-6103598-A & E7ZZ-6103599-A Ford part numbers and feature a OE style texture as well as the correct windshield radius and length. They also feature the correct mounting hole locations and lower felt material to ensure a squeak free installation. Installation Note:
These units are originally installed using the upper metal windshield trim as well as the metal trim over the door. The only hardware required is the two center screws. NPD offers this correct hardware under part number M-03598-1K.
Restoration Note:
These units are molded in a correct black finish with proper texture to ensure a OE style look. Most Foxbody enthusiast will know that all 1987-1993 Coupe and Hatchback A-Pillar trim was black to match the upper windshield trim and headliner trim. This is correct but in 1990 when Ford started to offer black interior option again they no longer called the interior black. Ford started to call the interior color Ebony and change the trim color on these units to match that Ebony color. NPD has compared the 1987-1989 black version to the 1990-1993 Ebony version and they do have a small color difference. So if you have a 1990-1993 Foxbody Mustang and want that concourse look NPD offers the correct Ebony dye to color match these exactly.
