If you have been looking to replace your worn out, broken or even missing original A-pillar trim on your 1979-1986 Foxbody Mustang Coupe or Hatchback then NPD has you covered with these exclusive new units. These units were designed and based off the original E3ZZ-6103598-A & E3ZZ-6103599-A Ford part numbers and feature a OE style texture as well as the correct windshield radius and length. They also feature the correct mounting hole locations to ensure a OE style installation. These new units are molded in a black interior color option but can be painted to match your original factory color. Installation Note:

These units are originally installed using the upper metal windshield trim as well as the metal trim over the door. The only hardware required is the two center screws. NPD offers this correct hardware under part number M-03598-1K.

Note:

1979 thru 1986 Mustang A-Pillar trims were painted the correct interior color to match the top of the dash pad color. NPD suggestion is to use our Low Luster interior paint / dye to match your original interior color.

Restoration Note:

These new units from NPD are designed and based off the original E3ZZ Ford part numbers. The earlier D9ZZ Ford part numbers featured a slightly different texture or grain that was used. It was not until around 1983 did Ford start using that same texture / grain that would be used all the way up until 1993.

1979-82 Models:

These units are molded in a black finish that would be correct in color for 1979 thru 1982 color option but do not have the exact OE texture or grain that was used from 79-82. These units are a great replacement for those years. If you are wanting to take your restoration to the next level you can paint these unit with our LP-946 black paint to match the color of the dash pad and other black interior trim parts that might need to be painted.

1983 Models:

1983 Foxbody Mustangs did feature a black interior color option. These new units from NPD would be a OE Style replacement for your year.

1984-86 Models:

1984-1986 Foxbody Mustangs did not feature a black interior color option from the factory. These new units would have all the correct features and texture / grain that would be correct but would need to be painted with NPD Low Luster interior paint to match your original color. If your 1984 thru 1986 Foxbody Mustang did feature the Charcoal Gray interior color option then NPD has you covered. See part number M-03598-2HAP for correct Charcoal Gray A-pillar trims.
