Daniel Carpenter Restoration was given permission to make these grille ornaments with the correct blue color that was originally used on the 1987-1993 Fox Mustangs. As many people know the original E2FZ-8A223-A & E9ZZ-8A223-A Ford service emblems now come with the newer model dark blue color that is not correct on Fox Mustangs. This Ford emblem is designed to look just like the factory original with one benefit over the original. A peel and stick adhesive has been added to them for easy installation. You no longer need to install the special metal nuts on the back side to hold them in place. So if you are looking to give your Fox Mustang that OE correct look and finish this is the emblem for you.
Installation Note:
Original Ford fit information shows that the E9ZZ-8A223-A should only fit 1989-93 from 3/89 but Daniel Carpenter has informed NPD that these units will fit all 1987-1993 LX models. These units do include the correct pins on the backside for proper alignment but can be broken off from the backside for use anywhere!
Note:
If out of stock and still want a correct Ford emblem but are Ok with the Darker Blue color NPD has a option. See part number M-8A223-4AR for same carpenter unit but with the dark blue background color.
