NUT KIT, ADJUSTABLE HOOD BUMPER, INCL (2) CORRECT STYLE JAM NUTS, 5/16 -18 US THREAD, EXACT REPRO
This kit is designed to work only with 16763-1AK adjustable hood bumper kit. Our research shows that Ford used a US thread 5/16-18 from 1979-82 models and a M8 metric thread from 1983-88 models. These jam nuts are a OE correct style with a 5/16-18 thread.
TNote: This nut kit can be used as a replacement for the 1983-88 models years if your current jam nuts are not working correctly or missing. The M8 metric thread jam nuts are not currently available.
