Taiwan junk. Every letter was crooked and didn't fit properly. I ended up cleaning and reusing the originals. Save your money and don't buy this garbage.

The letters look great and look just like originals. The pins are off a little bit from my originals so the may look a little crooked if you are using the original holes. If you are using a new deck lid or have the ability to seal the old and drill new, these letters are great. FYI - I found a 1/8" drill bit is just the right size when drilling new holes to except the retainers and pins. Also, if you just start the retainers and then insert the pins and press in by hand using a rubber mallet to distribute the force evenly, the pins go in easily and secure. These are the best MUSTANG letters on the market to date that I'm aware of.

The chrome plating on the letter "A" had filled into the top of the letter. I didn't notice this until after the letter was installed on the trunk lid so didn't want to risk damaging it to remove it and punch out the extra chrome. I guess check the letters for flaws before you install them.

I bought these to replace the letters on the trunk lid of my 69 Mustang. After removing the original letters, I found that the "M" and the "N" in this kit have pins that are spaced differently than the originals. The distance between the pins on these two letters is about .050" wider than the pins on the factory letters. So I had to re-use the original "M" and "N". The other letters fit perfectly, but what good is a kit if you can only use some of it? Buyer beware...
