EXHAUST KIT, CAT BACK, CHAMBERFLOW STYLE, MRT ENGINEERING, 2 1/2 INCH T304 STAINLESS STEEL TUBING, W/ 3 1/2 INCH BLACK MATTE FINISHED STAINLESS STEEL TURN DOWN STYLE TIPS, INCL MRT CHAMBER FLOW MUFFLERS, INCL ALL MOUNTING HARDWARE
The Mustang V8 MRT ChamberFlow Cat-Back system with turn-down tips has a loud, deep muscle car sound and is handcrafted in corrosion-resistant T304 Stainless Steel. This systems include T304 black matte finished SS 3.5" tips and 2.5" mandrel-bent tube. This system is engineered for the best sound to match your vehicle and provides increased performance from the increased exhaust flow.
The MRT ChamberFlow is quieter than the Sport Touring exhaust system. It has just enough exhaust presence with elevated sound to Get Noticed, Feel the Performance note, and packaged in a design without an excessive drone. How does one decide between the two? -- If you want loud to be always ON, choose the Sport Touring (M-5211-4MRTB). If you want to capture that "true" old-school sound of the original Fox GT, the Chamberlow system is the one for you. This exhaust system is only compatible with an MRT Street Race H-pipe (M-5F250-12MRT or M-5F250-12MRTC) or some custom fabrication will be required.
Application:
1987 thru 1993 Mustang GT V8 models.
Hear the Difference
How does it sound? The MRT Mustang V8 ChamberFlow Cat-Back M-5211-2MRTB has an aggressive, deep muscle car sound.
Is there drone or resonance? The drone is noticeable but tolerable.
