The shoulder on these bolts is not tall enough to engage properly with the slot in the shock tower. I could not get them to seat and stop spinning. I ended up buying 6 1" carriage bolts from the hardware store and flattening the done on the top with a grinder. The shoulders on these were twice as tall and locked in perfectly. I would not bother with these.

YES I would recommend this product.
This
happens with all these kits and I dealt with this often. Unfortunately
the Ford spec has a short carriage section. That's the way they were.
According
to my Ford Fastener Engineering Handbook, dated June 1971, the height of the
shoulder (P) for a 1/4" or 5/16" carriage bolt is .125".
1/8" is all you get and this kit matches.
