MOUNTING KIT, HOOD LATCH ASSY, INCL (2) CORRECT J-NUTS, (2) CORRECT BOLTS, REPRO
This hood latch assembly mounting kit is designed to give you everything you need to properly mount your hood latch to the factory support bracket. This kit includes both correct J-nuts as well as two correct style mounting bolts. This kit is designed like the factory hardware to allow for proper adjustment of your hood latch.
Restoration Note:
The 1979-1985 Fox Mustang featured both the J-nut and the bolts in a factory black phosphate finish. It was not until 1986 did the J-nuts start to be painted the factory body color.
The 1986-1993 factory J-nuts were installed on the support bracket prior to the painting process and from NPD research should be the factory body color. The the bolts however where installed later in the process and remained the factory black phosphate finish.
