I ordered these on the chance they might fit the door molding on my '70 Mach1, they don't. I did find out that they are exact same clips to mount the rear honeycomb panel & trim.

These are very robust with plenty of tension to keep them in place, unlike the ones that are included in the thin molding kits sold by NPD or anyone else. The fasteners in the kits are basically a one-time use item and are very hard to keep in place. Do yourself a favor and substitute the 8242-2AK kit when buying the thin molding. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I bought these based on other reviews posted. Glad I did they worked flawlessly to install new grill moldings on my 68 Mustang, they fit better in the moldings, place equal amount of contact to both sides of the trim than the kits fasteners.
