Molding, Drip Rail, Black, Rh, Exact Repro, These Units Feature The Correct Radius For A Proper Fit Against The Body

This is a perfect match to the original other than it's a tad too long for a 1993 model. On my 93 Cobra the molding butt's up against the rear window molding, it does not slide behind it and therefore this molding will need to be cut slightly. I had to take about 1/4" off of the end that connects to the rear quarter glass but be sure to check yours to make sure you get it exact before cutting. Also, the factory uses butyl sealer to help hold the part into the roof rail and butyl is not included in the kit. You will notice when you remove the old one that it's completely plastered with butyl sealer so I highly recommend you place a sheet down on your interior before removing the old one so that butyl drippings don't hit your interior. That stuff won't come out of fabric or carpet easily. You can purchase a non-hardening butyl on Amazon by searching for CRL7708 and one tube is more than enough to do both sides of the vehicle. Installing these PROPERLY is not a simple project so take your time to ensure everything fits correct before laying down a bead of butyl or you will have a huge mess on your hands. If you don't use butyl you run the risk of the molding moving around over time and possibly coming off the roof edge in some spots. I made the mistake of putting sealer in the molding before dry fitting it so don't do what I did. TO DO THIS PROPERLY: first cover your interior, remove the old one, clean the roof edge of old butyl using Goo Gone, remove the clips from the new molding and test fit into place without sealer or fastener clips, cut the end as necessary, test fit again to ensure the rear window end is tight while the front end aligns with the screw hole, once confirmed remove from the car and replace the clips, lay a small-medium bead of butyl inside the molding channel, then perform the final installation starting at the rear window end. Ask a friend to help so you don't bend, scratch, or stain anything with butyl going everywhere. Clean up using GooGone and other cleaners and you're done. This molding will give you a OEM finish if done properly.
