When I opened the box,the mirror glass was broken

I bought 2, when I opened the boxes each mirror glass had fallen off its mounting pads. The adhesive was still on both sides. But the mirrors were not broken. Age of the product should not be a issue on an outside mirror. An inspection of NPD inventory is needed.
