Original mirror had worn ball attachment point which caused the mirror to move when driving. The replacement mirror was of good quality glass with new hardware. This replacement resolved my mirror shaking issue when driving. Replacement was easy with a long bladed flat screwdriver. A nice replacement product. Thanks.

Good quality item that works well. The backing assembly plate comes with a non-convex mirror (I guess I missed that in the description), and I purchased the convex mirror which i glued over it ... all came out well, but considering the entire purchase was 70+$ it would be nice if the convex mirror was already on the assembly instead of the non-convex mirror, which would have saved me some $$$s.

Came here after seeing the outrageous $90 price on WCCC (crooks selling incorrect parts with buzz words). A great price on NPD thankfully. Works great and took maybe 5 minutes to install on passenger side mirror on a 1971 mach 1. I'm not a fan of the magnification it provides compared to the stock mirror that I replaced, but my old mirror would not stay in place so it doesn't matter that much

The mirror Fit Perfectly. Very easy to install. Quality appears to be very good and an exact match to the original. Nothing more you could ask for unless you don't have the mounting screw (which I did). Price seems a bit high for this small item but if you need it, then you need it....right?

Used this replacement on my 1970 XR7 Convertible. Snap to install! I used original mounting screw, so no problems there. Suspect it's a US 10-24 screw, so no problem if needs to be replaced. Weather stripping tight so right door gets slammed hard. Stays in adjustment. Fair Price. Dave

Very good quality. I wish it came with the convex mirror instead of the flat mirror for the passenger side. On my 71 Cougar I consider it a safety hazard because it is very hard to have a good field of view. So I bought the convex mirror glass separate and installed it, NPD: please update the description to indicate it does not come with the convex mirror. I didn't know until I got it and paid more for shipping.
