After reviewing several pictures I have found that almost every single 71-73 Mach 1 hood blackout is different, and the paint line was a little thick with the stencil so it doesn’t match my rocker blackout line. Ended up pin striping instead of the stencil but nothing really wrong with the stencil, just didn’t look right to me.

The reason that you find so many different variations of the 71-73 Mach 1 hood blackout online, is because so many people either “wing it” incorrectly, or use an incorrect stencil that many of our competitors carry (from a cheaper supplier).
I can 100% assure you that our stencil is accurate to
original. And studying some actual Ford factory photos, there is no direct correlation
between the rocker blackout line and the hood outer spacing and line. Spacing
and thickness was different.
