Easily locks the sending unit retaining ring in place with gas tank installed on the vehicle. Also works on the gas tank breather. This tool lessens the chance of gasket misalignment.

Works good you just have to make sure you keep the ring in line with all the locks as it tends to walk toward the side when tightening it.

This was a no-brainer. It’s what you need when it’s freezing, and everything is stanky with gasoline and you are under the tank on your back. Single movement on and off, and it’s not crazily expensive.
