They will not even thread onto the original stud. These will need to be tapped to function.

Please understand that the door lock knobs were never
pre-threaded by Ford in the first place. That would have greatly increased
Ford’s cost-per-piece, having to tap threads in every knob.

These look great. As others mentioned, the threads tap into the plastic as you screw it on, so a little hard by hand. I used an adjustable rubber strap oil filter wrench on the ends and they screwed on effortlessly.

Looks hood but not threaded properly to install on a 67 mustang. Required extreme force with both Hands to turn them on.
