Perfect fit, speakers were of good quality for the price, very tight fit between speaker and car frame, used shims and sound insulated sheets for good fit

I returned these without installing. I already have a pair of kick panels with speaker openings, but the speaker mounting surface is 6.0" in diameter, so 6.5" speakers overhang the base (looks like a mushroom). I bought these because the picture appears to show the speakers not being wider than the base. The items I received have 6.5" speakers on a 6" base, just like what I already had. Additionally, the pictures show a mesh grille protecting the speaker opening. The speakers that I received did not have a mesh grille, just an open frame that would keep somebody's foot from hitting the woofer, but not small objects that might be in the passenger side footwell.

The plastic was very thin and they didn’t look great. They may have been better looking if they were cover by a mesh or material
