Note:
Please note that some vehicles do require the installer to trim some metal to enlarge the opening for the new trunk power latch. This trimming does not affect the mounting of the original latch should you decide to reinstall it in the future. In addition to the tools shown above, you may need a die grinder and metal burr to enlarge the hole for installation.
