PPG Lacquer formula requires standard lacquer surface prep and can provide a durable and great looking finish for years to come. This lacquer based paint is specifically for use on properly prepared metal. Note that lacquer based paints can be application sensitive to relative humidity.

UPDATE to prior comment where I had noted an apparent issue with color matching. Rick from NPD reached out and we were able to confirm that the NPD color is a close match to the year/color I was seeking. Unfortunately for me, my previous source of paint was the outlier, so when I tried to match to NPD, I suddenly had an incorrect shade and mistakenly assumed that the NPD color was off. NPD's color quality and matching is top notch.

NPD does it again...did a test spray of this on the back of the panel. Within a few minutes you couldn't tell where I had sprayed and where the original color was. Perfect exact match. This is the second NPD color I've used that was an exact match. NPD's custom mixes are the only colors I will use for interior work.
