Great product but I happened to get a defective one. After a phone call to NPD and the help of the customer service person I received a replacement part the next day. The new part is perfect.

I had installed a Grant wheel in my '70 Mustang where it looked right at home - but after too many years of abuse, the set-up had deteriorated and needed replacing. Now it works like new, looks great and ready for more years of abuse (and car shows). That was a good investment of half an hour of effort.

Bought this kit along with the Challenger steering wheel and horn button, instructions were a bit unhelpful, the photos included were black and white and look like they've been scanned multiple times so you kind of lose all meaning, the horn contactor had such a tight tolerance it touched the steering wheel nut and would blow my fuse so needed to trim the plate as well as the plate that goes inside the horn button was too big to fit so had to trim that. Otherwise it worked like it was supposed to

the wire leads on the slip ring ( we call them slip rings as I am a NASA Radar Engineer retired) where they are soldered in the ring where just large blobs and not smooth to the ring caused my blinker assembly to be destroyed and shorted out mt entire electrical system. Not a good day. I was able to properly solder the wires to the ring for a smooth running surface but spent hours and hours repairing everything else.
