got the ignition set and installed it, only to find that the key wouldn't turn when installed. After fiddling with it I finally got it to turn to the location where I could remove it from the column. Come to find that if i held the cylinder with the tumblers at the top, the key would turn but when I turned it so the tumblers were at the bottom (like when installed in the column) the key wouldn't turn. I took the retainer off the cylider to find the 5 little springs were not in place. I took a door locok apart and put its springs in ignition cyl and it worked fine. NPD kept trying to tell me that if I turned the key before it was in the column that the springs would fall out; out of a sealed mechanism! Finally they agreed to replace with another one.
