Junk flimzy and screw to short .

clamps are too small for hose-- I used 21/2 " clamps .

The clamp is listed as having a 2 1/8" OD. We fit it over our F-8286-5 hose that measured 2.16" and we still had threads on the clamp available to expand. The hose is for an application the clamp is also listed for. So we were unable to replicate this reviewers issue. You might want to first check the O.D. of your hose prior to ordering the clamp.
