These Hooker BlackHeart Engine Mount Brackets for 1984-1995 Mustangs allow a coyote engine to be installed on the stock K-member. Fabricated from steel and powder-coated black for superior strength and corrosion resistance. These mounts are a major part of a complete coyote swap system for a Fox or SN95.
Manufacture Note:
These brackets permits installation of a coyote engine on a stock 1984-1995 Mustang K-member while placing the crankshaft centerline at the stock V8 engine location providing optimal U-joint angles and transmission fitment. Fabricated steel construction provides high-strength mounting solution for stock K-members. The powder coated finish provides long-term corrosion resistance. All mounting hardware included, (does not include engine mounts). These mounts allow enough clearance for the CMCV valve canisters between the firewall and the back of the Coyote intake manifold - on the 1996-2004 Mustang. Bolt-on compatibility with Hooker Blackheart headers.
Installation Note:
If you are looking to use the Hooker BlackHeart engine mounting brackets you will need to use the Prothane polyurethane engine mounts. These brackets are designed to be used with the 1996 thru 2004 engine mounts. See NPD part number M-6038-110AP or M-6038-110APA for correct engine mounts.
Hooker also suggest using an aftermarket oil pan when using this bracket kit. See NPD part number M-6675-18HHB for Holley Coyote swap oil pan kit. Some other aftermarket oil pans may work with this kit. Please check your fitment before installation.
