Bolt-in ready hood latch assemblies for 1981-1991 Chevrolet or GMC trucks are now available! Over time this part can rust or wear out, leaving your hood from not opening or locking properly, and also rendering the hood release cable useless. This is a brand new part from new tooling, designed to fit like an original, and features correct mounting points and thicker steel construction. It includes the hook and spring, plus bracket, bolt and washer.

Note:

This style hood latch is designed to only be used with inside hood release cable design. See NPD part number K-8075-77A for the correct hood release cable.
