I bought the following parts together: RH Hinge (16796-1B) LH Hinge (16797-1B) Spring (16789-1B) I am not sure how much of an impact the spring has on the hinge, but the over all solution was great. Much better than my experience with other hinges and springs. I am very happy with the end product.

These are great! After trying two other sets of aftermarket springs I found these. No more hood sag. These springs hold the hood completely open, and also hold it open at any position in between.

These hood springs are amazing! I had repro hood hinges that were sagging under the weight is a Mach1 hood. Just one of these springs holds the hood up and with both installed the hood opens and closes beautifully
