Hinges are definitely heavier than my old one. I replaced both left and right and both operate smoothly. The only thing I noticed is the spring was way harder to get on than it was on the old hinges. Maybe just me.

just ok hinges one was extremely tight. one of the rivets was pressed way too tight. lot of working to get it usable I hope it doesn't freeze up. Think I would look elsewhere for new ones if I had to do over with what I now know about the quality now.
