Although I have years of experience repairing and restoring cars, I am no expert. The original LH lower door hinge on my 67 Camaro was broken beyond repair. Initially I ordered an aftermarket hinge from eBay. I was never able to get the door aligned, nor could I get the door to close like it should. After reading up on this topic I decided to replace LH upper and lower hinges from NPD. I was impressed with the apparent quality of the hinges, especially the lower. I was able to align the door much better. Not perfect because my door is flexing. Need to get it repaired or replaced. I am completely happy with the way the door closes now. It requires a firm closure but so nice to not have to slam it any longer! Bottom line, I would have preferred to have the original hinges rebuilt but NPD offers a good alternative.
