Aluminum radiators and heater cores require coolant replacement at least every 24 months or 30,000 miles to maintain the necessary silicate levels that prevent corrosion.

I bought a generic part from one of the larger auto parts stores and regretted it as it didn't fit. I got theirs quicker, but it didn't fit, so I immediately ordered the next heater core from NPD and got the right part the first time as always. Lesson learned. Thanks, guys!
