After spending several hours trying to salvage my original box I gave up and purchased this one. This box is an excellent reproduction. The construction material is high quality. It comes with all the flappers installed. It comes with all the foam bits installed. It comes with all the clips. It has all the brackets you need for mounting and for the vacuum bulbs. It even includes the grommet for the evaporator tubes for both early and late 1969. Just pick the one you need. I did have to remove one of the flappers to install the heater core, but it only took a couple of mins. I also had to make 2 minor modifications to accommodate the replacement evaporator: the hole for the thermostatic switch tube was in a different location so I had to drill another hole and the mounting holes for the evaporator were slightly off so two of the holes needed to be elongated to get all the mounting screws installed. I don't think you would have to make the same modifications if you reused the original evaporator. This is a great part and I highly recommend it. I have restored a few of these boxes over the years and this reproduction saves you so much time it is well worth the $$$. My favorite feature...the connector for the drain tube is there, in the correct position, the correct angle and the correct diameter. No cold water drips on the passenger's feet!
