Although I have a late-'66 coupe, the original heater box had the early-style vent door, hence my review for this model. Outside of my having to enlarge two of the small openings on the heater box cover (for it was pinching the lever that controls the flapper / vent door), this item is a quality piece. This heater box is identical to the original, which made for a perfect fit.
