I was a little apprehensive in using a aftermarket part but when I installed the new handle it performed better than the factory part. Thank you NPD.

The new tailgate handles from NPD for 88-98 GMT400 trucks are made in Taiwan. I've had 2 of them now. I replaced my old factory handle with new ones. The first one didnt work and I bought a 2nd and it works. Not sure why the first didnt work like it was supposed to. Ill get tailgate handles from elsewhere from now on. Overall....its working now and Im happy to have a working tailgate handle again.
