Twice I ordered this PCV grommet for my 351 Cleveland which has Boss 302 valve covers. I required the large grommet which fits into the keyed hole in the valve cover. However, I received a very small grommet. Thinking I had ordered the wrong part many months earlier, I ordered another and again received a very small grommet. I called NPD and the rep discovered they had two types of grommet with the same part number. Some were the correct, large grommets and some were the incorrect, small grommet. (NPD sent me the correct, large grommet at no charge.) Therefore, I would suggest you call NPD during regular business hours and ask them to pull the part and make sure it's the correct, large grommet which fits into a keyed valve cover hole. The correct, large grommet is very soft and allows the PCV valve to flop around. I'm not sure if this is because it's new and will harden up a bit later, but the factory grommet is a much harder rubber. The seal is very good which I suppose is what matters.

This was a perfect solution for a weird issue... discontinued Mopar valve cover grommets are nearly exactly this size.... fixed a problem that was otherwise unsolvable!!!

It fit nicely in Power By Ford chrome valve cover. Given the limited space to the shock tower brace, there would not have been room for a breather cap and it is like the old rigid one that came with the car.
