I changed my rear gear ratio from 2.80 to 3.55. I had a 18 tooth speedometer cable gear and switched to this 23 tooth gear to make my speedo read correctly. Works great and easy to change.

Part works as intended, but has limited use as a swap with the OEM gear when changing rear end ratios, as I tried to use this part for. I will end up having to disassemble the speedo gear on the transmission output shaft, and swap or custom fab a new output shaft gear to accomodate my rear end change from 5.13 to 3.73.

This customer needs what amounts to a 28 tooth gear which is impossible to make
using a tire diameter of 26" just for comparison. Moving to a 6
tooth drive gear only changes the driven gear to 24 teeth which is nearly
impossible to make. He has to use a reduction gear 17294 which Ford
used on 4.11 and 4.30 gears.
