Factory color. 8x SMD bulbs are 3-4 times brighter than a stock incandescent bulb with less heat. dash rheostat will function in most cases (there are a lot of variables that could effect this). “8x” bulbs have 8 diodes in a cluster, and are only included for dash illumination. Standard single diode LED bulbs are used elsewhere. “Brighter than stock incandescent bulb” claim is based on a measure of lumens between a stock incandescent bulb and an LED bulb. How much actual light makes it to the dash face is dependent on many factors other than just the bulb lumen output. 8x bulbs are only included for the dash illumination. Standard LED’s are included for the high beam and turn signal lights. This kit does not require a special bulb for the single turn signal indicator. Bulbs used in this kit have built in bridge rectifiers that negates the need for the special bulb in that position.
Note: bulb fit can be an issue with 65-67 kits due to the steel stamped bulb bases and the inconsistencies of the stamped steel bulb sockets. Strict attention to the installation instructions is highly recommended.

The lights really did make a huge difference in the brightness of my instrument panel. However the product would be much better if they were made to fit the sockets without having to use rubber washers and alter the springs in the sockets. In my opinion the rubber washers didn't do a thing to make them fit better.
