These are horrible.I realize that repop parts sometimes have to be made to fit.That being said,its just a gsket and is wrong in the key spots it needs to be right.And the universal hand thing doesnt work with it.Theres an arc to one side,and a flat to another.And a thick side,and a thin side.Horrible piece.Sorry I bought it.

This is a good product as a direct replacement, BUT, it needs to be modified to keep the mirror base centered. In order to do so, the mounting holes need to be modified by drilling them out to double the original size (approximately 5/16"). This allows the gasket to be flexible enough to slide fore/aft and up/down so the base will sit within the lips and mount properly. Also, the thin side always goes to the top. The same gasket fits both sides as well - this eliminates the guesswork when comparing to OEM gaskets.
