I had intended to use this as a filter between the gas tank sending unit and the stainless steel fuel line. This filter is too large to use the existing rubber fuel line, so I may try to use additional fuel line to use the filter. No fault of the filter; I just wanted to add a little more protection.

Most of the stuff I've ordered has been great, but this one was a disappointment ....was not stamped "Motorcraft" as shown in the pic. just a plain in line fuel filter. Only reason I was replacing was to get the factory appearance.
