This gas cap is supposed to be vented. It is only vented for pressure. The spring loaded valve will allow pressure out but not allow air in when a vacuum exists. This is unacceptable and and could lead to many problems if it is the only vent to the tank. Drill several 3/32” holes just to the side of the center spring loaded valve. It will then transfer air in both directions.

The cap I received does not look anything like the picture.But who cares does it Fit Yes. Make sure your filler neck has the small indent where the fuel cap attaches so it can breath in and out,If the filler neck does not have the indent it will not vent and pressure will build in the tank.The N.P.D. reviews are great and always helpful.You sometimes have figure out if the part will work for you and your intention.
